To enable students to understand the basic parts of a computer, their use, care and to be able to use the basic applications programs like word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and graphics.

Contents: Introduction to Computer, their component parts, hardware and software, word processing, database, graphical representation of data and  file manager essential features.
