This modiule will provide the students the knowledge and skills to produce finsl accounting reports for sole trader which is not a reporting entity and uses a periodic inventory system.

Contents:

• Accounting theory
• Accounting system
• Accounting for fixed assets
• Balance day adjustments
• Closing the ledger
• POsting closing trial balance
• Final reports- Profit and loss statement and Balance Sheet
• FInal reports- Statement of cash flow

Entry Requirements:

Form five or have worked in government or business for at least one year.
